Igneous Rocks
Igneous rocks form from cooling magma. Magma is made up of melted minerals, so igneous rocks often have crystals in them. Other kinds of igneous rocks can be very smooth, like black glass or obsidian, or very light like pumice. Pumice is so light that it floats on water!
